Making Waves, Building Champions
The Garden City Aquatics (GCA) Interschools Swimming Championship is our flagship event, bringing together schools from across the region to celebrate excellence in swimming, sportsmanship, and youth development.
Held annually, the championship provides students of all abilities with the opportunity to compete in a professionally organized environment, showcase their talents, and develop confidence through sport. Beyond competition, the event promotes healthy lifestyles, teamwork, discipline, and resilience while fostering friendship among participating schools.
The championship features a variety of individual and relay events across different age groups and skill levels, ensuring every swimmer has an opportunity to participate and excel. Schools compete for individual medals, team trophies, and overall championship honours, making the event one of the most anticipated fixtures on the school sports calendar.
Why Participate?
- Promote swimming and water safety among students.
